About the Composer

Ryan R. Laney writes music designed to be interesting for both the casual listener and the true musician, offering compositions with high audience and performance appeal. While the majority of his compositions are for percussion solo/ensemble, he also writes for wind and string ensembles, including a growing number of arrangements for the concert band medium.


Ryan is also proud to announce his upcoming role as a          Band/Conducting Graduate Teaching Assistant at the fantastic Kansas State University, beginning Fall 2010. Go Wildcats!!
